A semi-detached stone cottage offering a a real home from home, Minafon has two bedrooms that sleep 3 people plus an infant in the provided travel cot. and a shower room on the first floor and on the ground floor a cosy kitchen diner, a utility room, and comfortable modern lounge with log burner. Facilities include washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, freezer, DVD player, Wi-Fi internet access, garden furniture for the small outdoor area and secure bike storage. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
The expansive sandy beach of Penmaenmawr is approximately 2.5 miles away, and Conwy, a World Heritage Site famous for its medieval castle and walled city, is only three miles away, accessible via the stunning Sychnant Pass.
Capelulo is a small village on the North Wales coast between Penmaenmawr and Conwy. The village is in an elevated position with both mountain and sea views and is home to a pub and an Austrian restaurant. Set on the side of the Tal-Y-Fan mountain, Capelulo enjoys stunning views across Conwy Bay to Llandudno, Anglesey and the Irish Sea, and if you are lucky, dolphins can sometimes been see playing in the bay. Capelulo is just a couple of miles from Penmaenmawr, an old quarrying town now adapted into a delightful community stretching along this stunning coastline, yet retaining much of its Victorian architecture, with many local pubs, restaurants and shops, a superb golf course and golden, sandy beaches. A recently opened cycle path leads along the coastal path to Conwy Marina to the East, and Llanfairfechan to the west. Or, head up the Conwy valley through the Sychnant Pass on to the mountain trails that abound there. The sailing club in Penmaenmawr is well established and welcomes day guests, as does the 9 hole golf course, set amongst stunning coastal scenery on the lower slopes of the village. On the promenade you will find numerous activities such as a skate park, bowling green and all weather tennis courts as well as a beach café in the summer.

Venue Cymru and Llandudno Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Conwy Water Gardens and Bodafon Farm Park. Pen-y-Dinas Hillfort and The Cayley Promenade are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
