Set in the rolling Devonshire countryside and nestled on the edge of striking Exmoor, home of some of the darkest skies in the country and beautiful rugged moorland, close to the traditional market town of South Molton which holds a farmers market twice a week and livestock market once a week. Within a short drive, you have a choice of many sandy beaches fabulous walks and cycleways with the Tarka Trail being traffic free. Local attractions nearby include Arlington Court, Combat Museums, RHS Rosemoor, Quincy Honey Farm, The Big Sheep and Milky Way to name but a few. Or why not try indoor rock climbing, cycling, country walks or visit the jewellery and stain glass workshops. Heading into the property through the porch, an ideal place to kick off those boots, coats and shoes and where the washing machine and tumble drier is housed, before stepping into the entrance hall with the kitchen directly ahead of you. Well equipped and fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Walking down the hallway you will find the sleeping quarters with a double bedroom with ample storage space and a simple single room. The bathroom completes the accommodation at this end of the cottage and offers a bath with a separate shower and WC. Walking back through the hallway a step up leads you to a welcoming lounge/diner. The lounge area has a gas fire comfy seating and a dining table and chairs. A TV/DVD offers plenty of viewing. From the lounge/diner area double doors open into a conservatory with seating giving wonderful views over the surrounding farmland and garden. The conservatory opens onto a beautiful enclosed patio garden with flower beds, garden furniture and views across adjacent fields. Covered parking available for one car (or bikes!) with additional outside parking space for an extra car.
