Whether it s a relaxing break or sightseeing there are plenty of options to suit all tastes when staying in this beautiful part of Suffolk. Walkers and ramblers will find many scenic walks locally or perhaps by bicycle tour to some of the quaint villages which can be found in the area. Just four miles away is Suffolk s Heritage Coast, home of renowned reserve RSPB Minsmere, Orford Ness, Snape Maltings shops and concert hall, and of course the lovely sandy beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Take a stroll along Aldeburgh high street which boasts a wide selection of boutiques, eateries, art galleries and a cinema or try award winning fish and chips on the promenade lined by pretty pastel coloured 19th century villas. Arriving at the cottage enter the side door into the kitchen which provides everything required to dine in, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and to help with the cleaning up afterwards there is a dishwasher. Head through the large arched opening into the dining room where there is dining for four. Moving through into the lounge, relax on the comfortable sofa and chair in front of the wood burner and TV with exposed beams and character features creating a charming atmosphere. Also on the ground floor is a garden room with sofa bed and French doors overlooking the garden, an ideal spot for some quiet time with a book. Ascending the cottage stairs to the first floor there are two bedrooms, a double and a single (with some restricted head height) and the bathroom (with restricted head height) and a separate WC. Heading outside, the cottage enjoys a pretty front garden with bench while to the rear is an enclosed shingled garden with planted borders and garden furniture, ideal for a relaxing morning coffee. There is off road parking for one car and a timber shed for bike storage.
