Sitting on Cornwall's pretty South Coast line with its clear seas, lush landscape and hidden coves you will find the tranquil village of Polruan where you can wander the pretty streets with village shop, two village pubs and cafe offering traditional Cornish fayre. You are well placed for walking the many coastal paths right on the doorstep. The cottage is paces from the passenger ferry across to Fowey with its independent shops, restaurants and pubs dotted along the streets. While visiting Fowey, St Catherine's Castle and Readymoney Cove are must see attractions. Slightly further afield to the east are the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro and to the west you will find the Eden Project, the long sandy beach at Carlyon Bay, head along the coast path and you will find the small village of Polkerris with its pub and small semi circle beach, perfect for children, and the historic harbour of Charlestown with its tall ships, pebbled beach and pub. Enter through the front door into a welcoming light property with character throughout. Sit down at the dining table and enjoy a cup of tea after a day exploring. The kitchen area is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Step down into the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The hallway leads to a single bedroom with plenty of storage and vanity area. On from here into the heart of the home is the lounge with plenty of seating, electric fire, TV/DVD and superb views across the harbour to Fowey and to the working shipyard to the right. Head up the slim staircase and you will find a quiet area with a desk, then onto the shower room with shower and WC and a very light twin bedroom with views of the harbour. There is no outside space at the property, however, the cottage is within paces from the beach and village quay. The property does not have any parking but there are nearby car parks where weekly tickets can be purchased.
