Walkers and climbers of all levels will find themselves spoilt for choice, with accessible walks at Tarn Hows and challenging climbs at Dow Crag and Hodge Close Quarry. The boating centre on Coniston Water, where guests can hire boats, canoes, and paddle boards, is just five miles away, whilst is a short drive in the opposite direction. This cottage, once thought to be the weaver s gallery of the original farmhouse, makes for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The large shared hallway provides a place to hang coats and leave boots, before entering the spacious lounge/diner, with its wood burner effect electric fire, views over the garden and a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. There is comfortable seating in this area, whilst towards the other end of the room, the dining table seats four.
