Guests can enjoy meals at local pubs in Libanus and Sennybridge, located two and five miles away, respectively, or venture into Brecon, seven miles away, for supermarkets, restaurants, shops, and a leisure centre with a pool.
The bunkhouse-style accommodation is designed for simplicity and practicality, ideal for large gatherings. Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a long tiled hallway that provides ample space for outdoor gear. The large kitchen is equipped with generous countertops and a dining table, featuring an oversized Aga and electric oven, ensuring that meal preparation is convenient. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining room with tables and benches that can accommodate everyone, making it perfect for group meals and socializing.
Evenings can be spent relaxing in the living room, where a cozy wood burner creates a warm atmosphere for board games, puzzles, or movie nights. For added comfort, a second sitting room offers additional space for guests to unwind. The downstairs area is completed by a utility room, which includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, and drying space, enhancing the convenience of the stay.
Upstairs, the property features six bright and characterful bedrooms, each showcasing unique elements such as original windows, floorboards, or ceiling beams. Two large bedrooms accommodate six single beds and include handbasins, while another spacious room offers five single beds and an en suite shower room. Three additional rooms contain double beds, with one also featuring an extra single bed. Guests have access to two family bathrooms, complete with baths and showers, as well as an extra WC. Outside, the expansive rolling lawns provide an ideal setting for games like rounders, cricket, or football, with enclosed grounds ensuring safety for children and pets.
