The Lodge features all ground floor accommodation and is set privately within the owner's grounds, ensuring a tranquil atmosphere. Guests will appreciate the spacious deck area that overlooks the beautifully maintained gardens, providing an inviting space to unwind. The kitchen is equipped with a combination microwave and hob, along with a fridge featuring an icebox, enabling guests to prepare simple meals. However, with a variety of delightful local restaurants and pubs, dining out is an attractive option during their stay.
Inside, the lodge boasts a safari-themed open-plan sitting and dining room, furnished with comfortable seating and a wall-mounted Freeview television that includes Netflix for entertainment. The dining area is designed for two, while additional seating is available in the kitchen. The bright and airy bedroom is highlighted by wall-to-wall windows and features a luxurious 6' super-king size bed, which can be converted into twin 3' single beds upon request, catering to different guest arrangements. A contemporary shower room with a large walk-in shower adds to the lodge's modern amenities.
Outside, the large private deck, accessible through French doors from the sitting room, offers a serene view of the garden, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Parking is conveniently available for one car. The village of Wherstead, located just three miles south of Ipswich, is part of the unspoiled Shotley Peninsula, known for its stunning landscapes. Additionally, the lodge welcomes one small, well-behaved dog for an extra charge, and infants are permitted, provided guests bring their own cot and linens.
