The Hide @ Ponderosa is cut into the hillside overlooking blue flag Newgale beach and the wetlands below, teaming with wildlife & our local herd of cows.
The interior designed studio boasts an open plan living space with 7m sliding doors offering an indoor/outdoor feel & a spectacular view.
The Hide is a 3 minute walk to Newgale beach & the coast path, in the heart of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Popular local villages like Solva, St Davids, Little Haven and Narberth are an easy drive.
The one of a kind studio has been newly built with high end appliances & fixtures and furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped for lazy morning brunches (complete with dishwasher for the washing up), a cooker tap for instant hot water for tea & coffee, outdoor shower for post surf, and Hoftas fire pit / grill for alfresco dinners under the stars. The sliding doors also allow you to stay cosy as you watch the weather roll in across the sea - which is quite something!
The Hide provides a real escape in rural West Wales. We look forward to welcoming you.
Please note that the Hide is hidden in the garden of our family home. The building & decking area is private and secluded but access is through our garden & you may well meet (mostly happy!) kids and our miniature sausage dog.
We’re available should you need anything throughout your stay. However, we’ll leave you to enjoy your stay unless you need us.
To truly unwind, we like to disconnect. As such we don’t have TV or Wi-Fi in The Hide.
Access to The Hide is through the garden of our family home. The Hide itself if fully secluded and private to you during your stay. Please keep dogs on the lead as you pass through the garden.
Located in Haverfordwest, this vacation home is near the beach. Newgale Camping Site and Mayfield Golf & Driving Range are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Hilton Court Gardens and Melin Tregwynt Woolen Mill. Preseli Venture and Milford Haven Heritage & Maritime Museum are also worth visiting.
