Guests can enjoy off-road parking and a private lawn, perfect for relaxing outdoors with a cup of tea in the sunshine.

Upon entering through the stable door, visitors are greeted by a sage green kitchen area equipped with modern appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, allowing for the preparation of snacks and home-cooked meals. There is a dining table for enjoying meals together, and the option to dine alfresco on the lawn adds to the experience. In the evenings, guests can unwind on the comfortable sofa or refresh in the sleek shower room before retreating to the cozy double bed, complete with bedside lamps for nighttime reading.

The Forge is situated in the tranquil village of Ham, which offers scenic walks along the River Tone and access to the Somerset Levels, known for its numerous RSPB nature reserves. The nearby Hestercombe House & Gardens, with its stunning temples and lakes, provides an excellent day out. Additionally, the City of Wells, famed for its market on Wednesdays and Saturdays featuring local food stalls and artisan crafts, is easily accessible. The larger town of Bridgwater is also nearby, offering attractions such as the Walled Gardens of Cannington and the Somerset Brick and Tile Museum, as well as the vibrant annual carnival parade in autumn.

Exploring the surroundings reveals even more attractions, including Glastonbury with its iconic tor, Dunster Castle with its historical water mill, and the charming town of Dunster itself. Guests can enjoy a scenic steam train ride from Bishops Lydeard to Dunster or Minehead, adding a fun twist to their exploration of North Somerset. The area is rich with natural beauty and cultural sites, including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole caves, and the beaches of Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea.
