Stunning shepherd's hut in a beautiful lakeside location. Set at the back of a working farm & equestrian centre the hut is well-appointed with modern decor. Visitors will have the use of the hut, stunning firepit & BBQ next to the hut. A stunning wood-fired hot tub is available for a small fee (£25) & there is a sauna. The lake is surrounded by fencing making the site secure & very private. Visitors are welcome to fish the lake (See details below) & there are facilities to bring a horse along too.
The hut is set alongside a 2-acre carp lake, dug in 2018. Stocked with 100 hand-selected mirrors and commons up to 25lb, which are growing fast! The current estimate is that 1/3 stock is over 20lb and most of the fish have never been caught! The fishing is not easy by any means, but the results are worthwhile! Horse owners can bring along their horse for an additional fee. There is a dedicated paddock within view of the hut and the yard has a stunning private 5k cross-country track. Access to the site is via the main yard, which houses a farm, equestrian facilities and some commercial premises, including the owner's other interest The Firepit Company. The lake site is secluded from the hustle and bustle of the main farm, set amongst the paddocks. There are just three shepherd's huts in the lake site, making this very secluded.
