There is a king-size bedroom, along with a shower room. To the outside is a terrace with furniture, a lawned garden and off-road parking for one car. This property will accept one pet however please note there is no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Within 0.6 miles there is a shop and pub. Town: In the picturesque South Hams region of South Devon, the bustling small town of Kingsbridge is located at the head of a saltwater estuary. A 3-screen movie theatre, an award-winning pub, and a variety of charming independent stores and coffee shops can be found in Kingsbridge. Salcombe, one of the nicest towns in South Devon, is located on the banks of the Kingsbridge Estuary and offers estuary excursions by ferry during the summer months. Salcombe is well-known for its breathtaking coastal vistas, gently undulating terrain, and watersports haven for kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, and powerboating. It is packed with boutique shops, high street brands and independent producers, restaurants serving freshly caught seafood, and Salcombe Gin and Ice cream! The South Devon Heritage Coast and this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) are both best enjoyed from Kingsbridge, which is ideally situated as a base. Tourists can stroll along Kingsbridge Quay, explore the winding lanes off Fore Street, or go to Totnes' Shambles, an Elizabethan market arcade. There are several scenic ports in the South Hams region, including Dartmouth and Salcombe, as well as Blackpool Sands in Stoke Fleming and the two sandy beaches at Thurlestone. In addition to the many small, charming villages in South Hams that offer interesting pubs, local farms markets, and charming rows of cottages, Plymouth is a bustling city with the National Marine Aquarium, the historic Barbican Quay, and a variety of nightlife options like theatres, restaurants, and bars. Train connections to Totnes and a short local bus ride to Kingsbridge's town centre make it simple to get to Kingsbridge.
Located in Kingsbridge, this cottage is in a rural area. South West Coast Path Section 40 Trailhead and South West Coast Path Section 39 Trailhead are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore South Devon and Dartmoor National Park. Slapton Ley Field Centre and Sea N Shore are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for outdoor excitement like hiking/biking trails.
