Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Monks Retreat is a small 200 year old home within the Historic city walls of Canterbury. Situated a stone throw away from the lovely Dane John Gardens and a short walk into the City Centre for everything you need.

The space
This cosy space is ideal for a stay when looking for a place in the City. The Monks Retreat is a perfectly formed 200 year old cottage minutes away from the City Centre, so close you have views of the Cathedral towers! The home has been recently renovated to a high standard and has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The stunning Dane John Gardens are round the corner and all the attractions of the City are just minutes away.

When entering the property you will see the kitchen, the small space on the ground floor is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and everything you will need during your stay, also including a small dining table with two chairs. Through the kitchen you can access the bathroom, this includes a toilet, sink and a good size shower.

Carrying on into the property, upstairs is the bedroom. This space is the whole of the first floor. This room includes a lovely King size bed, which if needed can be separated into two single beds when requested. The bedroom also includes a desk with a chair, a TV, a small mirror on the desk and a full length mirror on the wall. Lastly in the bedroom you will find a Monks Habit, making the name Monks Retreat come to life!

This property comes equipped with the following: 1 washing up liquid, 1 Antibacterial spray, 1 Kitchen roll, enough toilet roll for at least 2-3 days, 2 black bin liners, 2 white bin liners.

We also provide all bed linen, bath and hand towels and toiletries for guests
