Set along a tranquil country lane, the cottage is conveniently situated a short distance from the owners’ farmhouse. Guests are invited to explore over 100 acres of farmland, including 50 acres dedicated to apple and pear orchards. The landscape transforms with the seasons, offering a visual feast, particularly during autumn when the apple harvest and juicing take place. Visitors can also engage in fruit picking and witness the extraction of honey from on-site hives, all while enjoying the rich wildlife and the melodic sounds of birds and owls that fill the air during dawn and dusk.

Preston Wynne is a peaceful village located eight miles north of Hereford, where guests can find two small local shops within a five-minute drive for basic necessities. For a more extensive shopping experience, Hereford city is just a short drive away. The region is well-known for its cider and perry production, reflected in the menus of nearby restaurants and pubs. A traditional pub serving real ales and ciders is located just two miles from the cottage, and several excellent dining options can be found within a 20-minute drive.

Little Owls Barn offers a range of amenities, including oak windows, external doors, and exposed roof beams, all contributing to its rustic charm. The property features a private patio with west-facing views of the orchards and open countryside, along with parking for two cars and bicycle storage, making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts. While the cottage is not suitable for children or pets, it provides WiFi and the option for reflexology services upon request.
