The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with scenic walks available right from the doorstep, including a short trek to Lacy's Caves, featuring five unique chambers carved into sandstone cliffs. A delightful 4.5-mile loop can also be enjoyed, which includes a visit to Long Meg and her Daughters and passes through the quaint village of Little Salkeld.

The home itself, built in 1900, radiates character and warmth, making it an inviting sanctuary for travelers. The open-plan living area is bright and airy, enhanced by a cozy wood burner that creates a snug atmosphere. Guests can unwind with a good book or enjoy a movie night with the TV/DVD setup.
