A trip to Lake Windermere is a must and only 20 minute drive by car. Venture through the front door and you find yourself in the generous hallway and if you have forgotten your welly boots you will find a pair to fit along with spare socks. After a busy day exploring relax on the hall sofa, off with those walking boots and head up to the loft style lounge/kitchen/diner and relax.
