These cottages serve as an excellent base for various outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, and romantic getaways. Guests have direct access to footpaths that connect to the expansive Stenbury and Worsley trails near Appuldurcombe, as well as the scenic west Wight coastal paths, all of which offer breathtaking panoramic views. Nearby, Nettlecombe Farm features three well-stocked fishing lakes, with permits available for those interested in angling. The historic village of Whitwell, located just a short walk away, features The White Horse pub, renowned for its meals, and a charming 700-year-old church.

Ventnor, a picturesque Victorian seaside town, is less than ten minutes away by car and is known for its unique microclimate, sandy beaches, and sub-tropical botanic gardens.
