Just 1.5 miles from the property, Coed y Brenin Forest offers opportunities for woodland walks leading to the picturesque Rhaeadr Mawddach and Pistyll Gain waterfalls, as well as thrilling mountain biking paths. Nearby towns such as Dolgellau and Blaenau Ffestiniog provide a variety of independent shops and eateries, along with local attractions including the historic Ffestiniog Railway and adventure activities at Antur Stiniog and Zip World Slate Caverns, both within a short drive. The cottage is equipped with all essential amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The fitted kitchen features slate worktops and modern appliances, including an electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. Guests can unwind in the living area with Freesat TV and a DVD player, and Wi-Fi is available for those who wish to stay connected. For families traveling with young children, a travel cot and high chair can be requested, although guests are asked to bring their own cot linen. The property also includes a shared enclosed garden with seating and a charcoal BBQ, as well as lockable storage for outdoor equipment.
Additional features of the property include central heating and electricity, with bed linen, towels, and a hairdryer provided for convenience. A welcome pack upon arrival includes tea, coffee, homemade cake, and milk to help guests settle in. Please note that pets are not permitted, and smoking is prohibited inside the cottage. Parking is available with shared off-road space for up to two cars, and external CCTV is in operation for security.
