This bijou hideaway is 3 miles from the market town of Penrith, where you will find a nice selection of restaurants, independent shops and cafes. The Lake District National Park is only 3 miles away, enjoy a day out rambling or visit Ullswater (9 miles). Take a peaceful walk along its shores and visit the awe inspiring Aira Force Waterfall (12 miles). Attempt the impressive fell of Helvellyn (16 miles); a stunning peak to satisfy even the expert hiker. You may prefer to explore the quieter Eden Valley, which is on your doorstep, or Lowther Castle (3 miles) the castle and gardens are a sight to behold. As you enter the property you will find yourself in the cosy open plan lounge and kitchen. There is a comfy sofa to kick back and relax after a day out exploring, where you can catch up on a series on your Netflix account on the Smart TV. In the kitchen, there is a two ring electric hob, microwave, and fridge with a freezer compartment. Rustle up some breakfast or a picnic to take out for the day. If you don't fancy cooking, however, you can stroll 500 yards to the local pub for an evening meal. Head up the stairs to the first floor which is open and features a double bed with under bed storage. There is an en suite bathroom with a shower and WC. Outside, although there is no garden, there is seating to allow you to sit out at the front of the property on a sunny evening or enjoy a morning coffee. The village has unrestricted street parking just a few metres from the property (subject to availability). You will find a good selection of shops, bars, and restaurants just 3 miles away in Penrith, or the village pub is 500 yards away.
