The property is situated through a gated entrance at the end of the driveway and just over a mile from the Devonshire village of Shebbear with its own pub and village shop. There is plenty to see and do within a 30 mile drive of the property, including the traditional harbour town of Bideford, where there is an interesting array of independent shops, and from where it possible to take a boat trip out to the wildlife rich island of Lundy, with its resident seal colony. The privately owned, traffic free village of Clovelly is also nearby, as are the sandy beaches of Bude and Westward Ho! Under a 10 minute drive by car, is the impressive conifer forest situated in the heart of the Ruby Country, enjoy breath taking views, perfect for dog walks, or romantic strolls, with many forests and trails to discover. Another interesting site to visit is nearby Dunsland, explore this National Trust ancient parkland and visit the site of the old Dunsland manor house. Stepping into the property, which is all on one level, you ll find the entrance hall with room to kick off your shoes and hang coats. You will soon be drawn to the open plan living space which has a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and a warm and welcoming feel with comfortable furnishings that beckon you to relax. There is a large Smart TV where you can enjoy your favourite TV show or a movie. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you will need to cook up a feast or snack, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A dining table and chairs with ample room makes mealtimes a breeze and is also handy for board games, cards or just to plan your next day's adventure. Across the hallway is the spacious bedroom with a double bed, and the bathroom completes the accommodation with shower and WC. Heading outside, there is a private, enclosed courtyard area with garden furniture, BBQ and fire pit, an ideal spot to enjoy al fresco drinks or meals in the warmer months. Dogs must be kept on a lead when outside of your private courtyard area. Ample parking is provided.
