A little further afield are the popular towns of Hawes (24 miles), Reeth (10 miles) and Middleham (11 miles), perfect places to enjoy a refreshing drink or meal after a walk in the countryside. Pack a picnic and take a stroll along the River Swale, through Round Howe Woods which provides views of the Castle in the distance. Entering into this cosy cottage, step inside to discover a well equipped kitchen with an electric hob/oven, fridge and coffee machine, the perfect place to create delicious home cooked meals or enjoy a quick snack at the breakfast bar before heading out for the day. You will find a larger dining table in the living/dining room where you can look forward to meals together. Head through to the lounge that's bursting with character, snuggle up on the sofa and light the wood burner for a cosy night in and put a film on the TV. Heading upstairs there is a super king size bed to sink into for a restful nights sleep. Across the small landing is a delightful bathroom with a roll top bath and WC, perfect for an unwinding soak after a long walk. Outside there is a private courtyard with a bistro style table.
