Located less than seven miles away from the cottage, Barry is a favourite day trip for holidaymakers and locals alike, offering a fun seafront pleasure park with a good range of rides. A little further to the west, some fifteen miles from the property, the Welsh capital Cardiff is a vibrant city with a fantastic choice of shops, bars, museums, and arts venues, as well as a host of attractions including Cardiff Castle, Bute Park, and even a tour of Dr Who locations. The lounge is the natural heart of the cottage, offering a relaxing cosy atmosphere with its warming wood burner, TV, DVD, and two comfortable sofas, one of which is a sofa bed which can be used to accommodate two extra guests. The kitchen/diner has the same charming character as the lounge and offers a dining table alongside an oven, hob, and fridge/freezer. A separate utility room is a handy space where guests will find the microwave and washer/dryer. The property s double bedroom is a restful retreat with an elegant feel to it, whilst the shower room is a contemporary space offering a corner shower and WC. Outside, there is a pretty, enclosed garden to the front of the property which has a sunny seating area with garden furniture from where guests can enjoy the fantastic countryside views towards the sea. .
