Ennerdale Brewery is half a mile away, this family run brewery produces cask and bottled ales, you can enjoy afternoon tea here or a brewery tour. Mockerkin Tarn, 4 miles away, offers a lovely walk and in the summer has a wonderful display of white and yellow water lilies. Less than 6 miles away is Holme Force waterfalls, visit the waterfall and then walk down to the shore of Loweswater. High Leys Nature Reserve is less than a mile from your front door, with footpaths and bird hides to explore. Cumbria kart racing club is only 1 mile away, the circuit hosts top quality events but is also one of the most technical and demanding tracks in the UK. Entering the cottage, you will find a lovely cosy open plan kitchen and lounge with a comfy reclining sofa and wall mounted Smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, slimline dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and microwave. There is a dining table, which offers a great space to enjoy breakfast or dinner and make plans for the remainder of your stay. From the kitchen head up a couple of steps, you will find yourself in the double bedroom, which is spacious, with wall mounted Smart TV and has an en suite bathroom with shower and WC. There is a small private patio with seating at the front of the property, there is private parking for one car just 10 meters from the entrance. You will find a pub and shop within walking distance, with other pubs, restaurants and shops within 2 miles of the property.
