Set in one of the oldest rows of cottages in the historic market town of Bridport, this property is full of character and is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding town and the coast, which both are within easy reach. Bridport itself has a choice of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops for those essential supplies, as well as a thriving selection of shops selling antiques and vintage curios, should you wish to seek out some treasures. Bridport is renowned for its arts and music scene, with live music often being held in Bucky Doo Square on Saturdays. Vibrant markets fill the tow n on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with vintage fairs being held om the last Sunday of every month. Nearby West Bay, made famous by the BBC series Broadchurch has an expansive beach with stunning cliffs as the backdrop. There are plenty of walks to explore and wildlife to spot, either along the River Brit which is within a short stroll from the doorstep, admire the panoramic vistas from nearby Allington Hill or walk up to Colmers Hill on the Symondsbury Estate. Set in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, you will find this picturesque area has an abundance of pretty towns and villages, which are ideal for walking and cycling. Two steps take you from the no through lane into the entrance of this charming cottage. The front door opens into a delightful lounge/diner, which is the perfect welcoming space in which to relax. Offering a Smart TV and a toasty wood burner, why not put on your favourite programme and unwind, before enjoying a home cooked meal in the adjacent dining area. Up a step and set to the back of the cottage is the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a dishwasher. Heading up the stairs from the kitchen will bring you to the first floor. Here you will find a pretty double bedroom with a king size bed, exposed wooden floorboards and a contemporary shower room with WC, offering the perfect blend of character and modern convenience. Heading outside to the rear garden you will find a fully enclosed space with steps leading up to a seating area and lovely cottage style flower beds beyond. Located directly outside of the kitchen and with a charcoal BBQ, it's the perfect spot for enjoying a drink or light meal outdoors. A pay and display public car park is located opposite the property and offers ample parking with further roadside spaces near the cottage (both subject to availability).
