The property is located in the historic 1066 country and surrounded by 200 acres of farmland and orchards, providing an abundance of country walks right at your doorstep. Guests can explore the enchanting Sussex countryside, which is dotted with quaint villages and towns featuring independent shops and traditional English pubs. One of the highlights of the area is the nearby National Trust's Bodiam Castle, a captivating landmark that invites exploration and admiration.

The holiday accommodation itself is a beautifully restored 1894 railway carriage, originally serving as a home for a fairground owner. The current owners have meticulously refurbished the carriage to create a warm and inviting space for guests. Inside, visitors will find elegant mahogany woodwork and ornate crystal mirrors that add a touch of vintage charm. The layout includes a cozy bedroom at one end, featuring a fixed raised small double bed dressed in luxurious Irish linen, complemented by painted woodwork and a small hand basin for convenience.

At the opposite end of the carriage, a snug lounge area awaits, complete with a vintage tiled fireplace that houses a woodburner effect fire, a gas heater, and entertainment options such as a TV with a DVD and CD player. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are conveniently located in two separate adjacent buildings, accessible from the outside veranda. The kitchen is equipped with essential amenities including a sink, small oven and hob, fridge, and a quaint dining table for two, all while offering picturesque views of the surrounding fields. The contemporary wet room features a shower and WC, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.

Outside, the property boasts a raised decked area with an enclosed overhead veranda, providing a serene spot to unwind while enjoying a glass of wine and taking in the stunning views of Bodiam Castle and the adjacent apple orchards.
