The estate includes a well-stocked fishing lake, home to Carp and Roach, as well as numerous woodland trails, including a nearby willow woodland known for its cricket bat production. Guests can also take a leisurely stroll to the local village, which features a shop, post office, and a quaint pub alongside the River Colne, known for serving locally brewed beer. Additionally, local beauty salons offer a range of pampering services for lodge visitors.
In addition to Brook Lodge, Wakes Hall Lodges offers several other accommodations, including Campion Lodge and Ramson Lodge, both sleeping two guests, and Endymion Lodge and Woodbell Lodge, which can accommodate four guests each. This variety allows for flexible options depending on the needs of visitors, whether they are seeking a romantic getaway or a group retreat.
