Summary:
Tucked away at the back of The Royal Oak Pub, our delightful Acorn Cottage is nestled in the heart of the highly desirable Charnwood Village of Quorn. This charming village offers an eclectic mix of boutique shops, trendy café’s, cosy pubs and stunning restaurants and is within very easy access to both Loughborough and Leicester City.
Quorn is perfectly situated within the Charnwood Forest area with stunning countryside on your doorstep. Bradgate Park, Swithland Woods, Cropston Reservoir and Beacon Hill Country Park are all just a stone’s throw away where you can enjoy picturesque walks and take in the fresh country air.

The Space:
The cottage consists of three rooms, a lounge, a kitchen, one bedroom and a shower room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all kitchen utensils. There is a coffee machine, toaster, microwave and hob and oven.
The lounge has a comfortable sofa and tv with Freeview channels.
The bedroom is on the first floor and has a double bed, bed side lamps. Hanging space is also provided with a chest of draws.
The shower room has a walk in shower and a toilet with a hand basin vanity unit.
(Please be aware that the lead booker has to be at least 25 years of age)
Guest Access:
At Acorn Cottage you will have direct access to the cottage and you are more than welcome to use the Royal Oak if you fancy a drink. Please note the trading hours of the pub for your information.
A free of charge car park is available at our sister pub, Blacksmiths Arms which is located 100yds away on Meeting Street

This vacation home is located in Loughborough. Great Central Railway and John Taylor Bellfoundry Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Charnwood Forest Golf Club and Longcliffe Golf Club. Abbey Pumping Station and National Space Centre are also worth visiting.
Self-catering cottage holidays in the UK and Ireland can still be a green option. You can have the comforts of home and the flexibility to do what you want; when you want - without the hassles of air travel!
