Upon entering, guests find themselves on a landing with two doors. The right door opens into the comfortable bedroom, which is equipped with fitted cupboards, a chest of drawers, and a dressing table, all complemented by two double-glazed windows that overlook the picturesque woods and lawns. To the left, the inviting sitting room features a log burner, a flat-screen TV/DVD, a docking station, and comfortable seating arrangements, all framed by windows that provide beautiful views of the natural surroundings. This cozy space is perfect for relaxation after a day of outdoor activities.
At the end of the sitting room, a door leads to a well-equipped kitchen and a modern shower room. The kitchen includes essential appliances such as a fridge freezer, washing machine, electric cooker, and microwave, making it easy for guests to prepare meals. The shower room is designed for comfort, featuring underfloor heating and a spacious walk-in Aqualisa shower with excellent pressure. The cottage also boasts its own garden, primarily laid to lawn, with garden furniture and a mobile barbecue, ideal for summer evenings spent outdoors. South Lodge offers additional amenities such as an open shed for bike storage, off-road parking, and a log shed stocked with free logs, some of which may need to be split using the provided axe.
