It has been completely renovated to provide a lovely retreat for couples, just a short drive from the bustling market town of Woodbridge. The accommodation with stylish interior, all provided on one level, offers everything you could wish for in a cosy self-catering holiday home. The property is well equipped for holidaymakers all year round and ideally situated to explore the Suffolk countryside and the Heritage Coast.
It is a perfect base for all water-borne activities; canoeists, windsurfers and paddle boarders can launch directly from the quay. Fishermen and women can also fish directly from the quay. The area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. All within easy reach are the coastal towns of Aldeburgh, Southwold and Orford, together with Framlingham Castle, Sutton Hoo, RSPB Minsmere, the concert hall at Snape and the county town of Ipswich. Waldringfield even has its own beach, and golf at Waldringfield Golf and Leisure Club is available on a pay and play basis at just £10 for 9 holes. There is a range of shops at Martlesham Heath located just a 10-minute drive away.
Nearer at hand, just 200 yards from the property, is a pub and restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A take away service is also available. The pub is one of seven award-winning Suffolk pubs, each with its own unique personality and and all set in stunning locations, and guests of Quayside Cottage have the benefit of a special privilege card which offers them a 10% discount on both food and beverages, valid for the duration of their stay, for all seven of the pubs. Quayside Cottage (UK33899) can be booked together with The Boathouse (UK33900) to accommodate up to 4 guests.
