Set in an enviable position close to the River Deben, the award-winning Boathouse boasts spectacular and ever-changing views across the Deben from the shared river terrace (but please note The Boathouse itself does not have a direct river view - the photo shows the view from the river terrace just 30m from your front door. ) It has been completely renovated to provide a great retreat for couples, just a short drive from the bustling market town of Woodbridge. The accommodation with stylish interior is on two levels with an open plan living area. Upstairs there is a vaulted ceiling to the master bedroom and an upstairs balcony with partial views of the River Deben. It offers everything you could wish for in a cosy self-catering holiday home. The property is well equipped for holidaymakers all year round and ideally situated to explore the Suffolk countryside and the Heritage Coast.
A private dedicated car parking space off the road is available on a shared driveway. A perfect base for all water-borne activities (canoeing, windsurfing, sailing and paddle boarding) as well as a haven for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. Fishermen and women can fish directly from the private quay. The coastal towns of Aldeburgh, Southwold and Orford, together with Framlingham Castle, Sutton Hoo, RSPB Minsmere, the concert hall at Snape and the county town of Ipswich, are all within easy reach. Waldringfield even has its own beach and golf at Waldringfield Golf and Leisure Club is available on a pay and play basis for 9 holes. There is a range of shops at Martlesham Heath located just a 10-minute drive away. Nearer at hand, just 100 yards from the property, is pub and restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The property is also located just 200 yards from ‘The Maybush’, which is one of seven award winning pubs, guests have the benefit of a special privilege card which offers them a 10% discount on food and beverages valid for the duration of their stay.

Located in Woodbridge, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Seckford Golf Centre and Rushmere Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Suffolk Coast and Heaths and Orwell Country Park. Kingpin and Kidz Kingdom are also worth visiting. With canoeing and fishing nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.
