The apartment is situated just a short walk from a local shop, the River Greta, Fitz Park and the bustling town centre of Keswick. The town is full of narrow streets with independent shops and courtyards, and has an abundance of bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, delis, outdoor shops and every other type of shopping experience you could imagine. This traditional market town is full of great things to discover.
If you like culture, check out the Theatre by The Lake with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, 1 mile, where you can also hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down. For family fun you could try Puzzling Place, a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world, 1 mile. If you want a wild day out, try The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, or The Lakes Distillery offers daily tasting and tours, both are just 8 miles away.
