Elwin House is an impressive three-storey holiday home located in the heart of Cromer, Norfolk, just a short distance from the beach and offering stunning sea views. This spacious property accommodates up to 18 guests across its nine well-appointed bedrooms, making it an ideal choice for family reunions or group getaways along the picturesque Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house features a grand entrance with high ceilings and original flooring, leading to two inviting sitting rooms that provide comfortable spaces for relaxation and socializing.
The first sitting room boasts an exposed wooden floor, a charming bay window with seating, and a feature fireplace, while the second room offers a cozy atmosphere with a large corner sofa and a wall-mounted TV. The heart of the home is the expansive kitchen/diner, which includes a long dining table that seats 14, a spectacular range cooker, and ample appliances for preparing delicious meals. Additionally, a breakfast room provides extra seating and storage, and the ground floor is completed by a convenient cloakroom/utility area.
On the first floor, guests will find four of the nine bedrooms, including a spacious family room, a double bedroom with sea views and an en-suite, and a single room, all served by a shower room and separate WC. The second floor features five more bedrooms, including another double with en-suite facilities and three twin rooms, one of which also offers lovely sea views. The proximity to Cromer's vibrant center ensures that guests have easy access to a variety of shops, pubs, and eateries, while the award-winning sandy beach is just a short walk away, perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
In addition to the local attractions, such as the iconic pier, theatre pavilion, and museums, Elwin House serves as a great base for exploring further afield. The nearby town of Sheringham offers its own sandy beach and historical sites, while the Norfolk Broads, just an hour's drive away, invite exploration by boat. The city of Norwich, only 30 minutes away, provides a wealth of entertainment options, including shopping, dining, and cultural attractions.
