The open-plan kitchen area is equipped with an Aga and a large range electric cooker, providing versatile cooking options for family meals. The expansive dining area is complemented by a large sitting room, which features a cozy corner settee, a Living Flame gas wood-burning stove, and a separate garden room. Both the sitting room and garden room open onto the property's two large, fully-enclosed gardens, which are ideal for outdoor relaxation and gatherings.
Outdoor living is a highlight at Lavender Barn, particularly in the summer months, where guests can enjoy alfresco dining by the outside fireplace. The gardens are thoughtfully designed with undercover seating, lighting, a charcoal barbecue, and ample garden furniture, making it a perfect spot for evening gatherings. The barn's location also allows for easy walking access to the village pub and the beach, which is approximately a 20-minute stroll away. Nearby villages like Old Hunstanton and Thornham offer additional dining options, as well as beautiful beaches for sunbathing and leisure activities.
For those interested in outdoor activities, sailing facilities are available at Brancaster Staithe, and golf enthusiasts can enjoy courses at both Old Hunstanton and Brancaster. Lavender Barn has a non-standard check-in time of 5:00 PM and a departure time of 9:00 AM.
