The townhouse retains many original Georgian elements, such as sash windows, wooden beams, and fireplaces, while incorporating modern fixtures and fittings for a comfortable stay.
This light and airy apartment is designed for large groups, offering a welcoming atmosphere with a colorful modular sofa in the expansive lounge, which also includes a 50-inch wall-mounted TV and an MP3 player. The adjoining kitchen is equipped with an American-style fridge/freezer, microwave, range cooker with an induction hob, and a dishwasher, alongside a dining table that seats 14. Tall sash windows with original shutters enhance the kitchen's brightness, creating a perfect space for socializing and entertaining.
The sleeping arrangements consist of four twin rooms and two triple rooms, with the option to combine singles into super king-size beds. The bathrooms are equipped with modern amenities, including walk-in wet rooms with underfloor heating and a luxurious copper bath large enough for two. An additional bathroom on the first floor provides further convenience, along with a designated area for smokers with an emergency exit. The property is non-smoking throughout, ensuring a pleasant environment for all guests.
In addition to Bath Townhouse 14, there is Bath Townhouse 8, which is suitable for guests with limited mobility and features an open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner, a twin bedroom, and a walk-in wet room on the ground floor. The lower ground floor includes two more bedrooms, a games room, and two additional bathrooms, all equipped with modern conveniences. The location of the townhouse allows easy access to Bath’s attractions, including the Thermae Bath Spa and the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a perfect base for exploring the region.
