This wonderful large period property is in the ideal location for exploring both Devon and Cornwall in what is known to be the gateway to Cornwall. The house is next to the train station and sits just before the Tamar bridge, so visiting Plymouth (6 miles) with the historic Barbican is easy, along with Dartmoor (8 miles) and some other South Devon attractions. Further down the coast you can discover the traditional picture postcard resort towns of Looe (16 miles) and Polperro (21 miles). Other attractions in the area include the Monkey Sanctuary (15 miles), the Adrenalin Quarry (10.5 miles), Go Karting (3 miles), Porfell Wildlife Park (21 miles), the Eden Project (30 miles) and many National Trust properties as well as golf courses including the Jack Nicklaus course at St Mellion (6 miles). Enter this wonderful property and into a conservatory porch with seating a real sun trap for you to enjoy a book or morning coffee. Move through the stunning original front door and into the grand hallway with its impressive staircase, high ceilings and original features and you immediately feel at home.
