The ground floor of Orchard Cottage boasts a hand-painted shaker-style kitchen equipped with modern appliances, including a walk-in larder and adjoining utility room. Two generous sitting rooms, both filled with natural light and equipped with televisions, provide comfortable spaces to relax and enjoy views of the garden. Each sitting room has French doors that open to the garden, while a dining area accommodates gatherings for meals. Upstairs, guests will find five charming bedrooms—three king-size and two twin—along with two bathrooms and an additional shower room on the ground floor, ensuring ample facilities for everyone.
The expansive gardens surrounding the cottage are a highlight, offering a mix of communal areas and secluded spots for relaxation. The south-facing rear garden features beautiful wisteria, a lawn perfect for sunbathing, and a shaded area provided by an old willow tree. Children can explore the garden, which includes a small pond and a trampoline (use at your own risk). With the property being pet-friendly, two well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge, although the garden is not entirely dog-proof despite being enclosed when the gate is shut.
Conveniently located just a seven-minute walk from Wells' bustling high street, guests can easily access a variety of independent shops and cafes.
