Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by an impressive gated entrance and a circular driveway that can accommodate up to six cars. The interior features a grand hallway leading to various living areas, showcasing the elegant design and décor typical of a Georgian manor house. The open plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area includes a central kitchen island, a gas AGA, an electric cooker, and comfortable seating for relaxation and entertainment. The adjoining orangery, equipped with underfloor heating and temperature-sensitive skylights, offers additional dining space and stunning sea views, seamlessly connecting to the terrace and gardens below.
The drawing room provides a tranquil atmosphere, complete with a large wood burner for cozy evenings. This space can be combined with the separate dining room, which also boasts beautiful views over the bay and access to the garden. Upstairs, the first landing features a window seating area, while the master bedroom offers a picturesque bay window and a peaceful lounging spot. The master bathroom includes modern amenities, although the corner bath is currently out of order. Additional bedrooms and a shower room are also located on this upper level, accommodating a variety of guest needs.
Further amenities at The Priory include WiFi, a DVD player, a utility room with laundry facilities, and a comprehensive surround sound system. Guests are provided with linen and towels, although beach towels should be brought from home. The property is pet-friendly, allowing well-behaved dogs for an additional fee, and a damage deposit is required upon booking.
