Upon entering Little Ellers, guests are welcomed by a spacious reception area that leads to a variety of living spaces. The wood-panelled sitting room is equipped with a 55-inch TV and soundbar, while the lounge/diner and formal dining room are perfect for entertaining and enjoying sumptuous meals. The property features original Arts & Crafts period fireplaces, which, while not functional for safety reasons, add to the home's historical ambiance. The bespoke kitchen is a highlight, complete with a central island and a large range cooker with a five-burner hob, complemented by a utility room for convenient storage of outdoor gear.
Accommodating up to 10 guests, Little Ellers offers five spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms, including a downstairs toilet. The first floor features a super king bedroom, two doubles, and a twin, with the master ensuite boasting a walk-in shower. The other bedrooms share two bathrooms, one of which includes a luxurious roll-top bath and double rain shower cubicle. The second floor houses a twin bedroom with its own luxury shower room, ensuring ample facilities for all guests. Each bathroom is designed with modern fixtures, including rain showers, to enhance the overall comfort of the stay.
Surrounding the house are beautifully manicured gardens that provide lawns and patio areas furnished for relaxation, along with paths leading to a nearby stream and woodlands. Little Ellers is conveniently located within walking distance of Portinscale's amenities and is just a short stroll from the marina and the shores of Derwentwater. A quick five-minute drive brings guests to Keswick, a vibrant market town offering a range of activities, from hiking to peaceful explorations of local attractions like the Castlerigg Stone Circle.
