This imposing Georgian farmhouse has famous links to Wordsworth and Coleridge who visited in the 19th century! It is full of period charm, exposed beams and feature fireplaces. The hall leads into the spacious lounge with comfortable sofas, feature fireplace, wood burner effect oil fire and TV/DVD. Across the hall is the games room with pool table over looking the lake. Upstairs to the first floor you will find three beautiful bedrooms to choose from, all with a TV and lovely views, one with a double bed and two with super king size beds and en suite shower rooms with shower and WC. Up the next flight of stairs to the second floor is the fourth bedroom with a double bed, two additional single beds, sofas to watch TV and a wood burner electric effect fire. Along the landing is a spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC and views towards the lake. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with a range style electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and fridge/freezer; being on second floor the kitchen window commands fantastic views across the lake. Farm assured home produced quality beef, lamb and pork are available to purchase from the owners during your stay (subject to seasonal availability). The table and chairs by the portico are perfect to enjoy morning coffee and embrace the view over the lake and towards the garden. The summer house is positioned by the four and a half acre lake with an enclosed patio area, table chairs and gas BBQ, a lovely spot from sunrise to sunset. The property also boasts a hot tub over looking the grounds. The garden has established borders, lawn and climbing frame with swings. If you are keen on cycling there is a lockable store available. Fly fishing available by arrangement with owner prior to arrival. There is off road private parking for four cars at the property. Please note the property is attached to the owner s wing though privacy is assured on this working farm. The house is approximately 30 yards from the un fenced lake, children must be supervised when using the gardens.
