Accommodating up to ten guests, including a maximum of eight adults, this spacious property is ideally situated near the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just a short walk from local amenities such as a village pub, post office, and shop, it also provides easy access to some of Norfolk's finest Blue Flag beaches, making it an attractive year-round destination.
The interior of Homestead is a blend of character and modern sophistication, featuring high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Guests are welcomed into a well-equipped kitchen/diner, complete with an Aga and electric oven, which opens up to an outdoor eating area bathed in late afternoon sun. The property is designed for entertainment, with a variety of board games, books, and DVDs available for use. The enclosed sunny garden boasts a decked area with a bar, table tennis table, swings, and garden games, ensuring fun for all ages. Additionally, the snug and formal sitting room with a wood-burning stove provide cozy spaces for relaxation.
Sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully arranged over two distinct areas, with three bedrooms in the main house including two king-size beds and a zip-link bed that can be converted into twin beds. The Black Cat Barn annexe is ideal for elderly relatives or a separate family, featuring its own living space, kitchenette, and a combination of king-size and single beds, along with a private garden. This setup allows for both togetherness and privacy, making it perfect for multi-generational gatherings.
Homestead and Black Cat Barn offer an ideal setting for creating lasting memories, whether it’s exploring picturesque seaside villages, enjoying outdoor activities like walking and cycling, or simply relaxing on the beach with a picnic of local produce. For smaller groups, the Homestead can also be booked separately to accommodate six guests. The property is pet-friendly, welcoming three well-behaved dogs for an additional charge, and provides amenities such as synthetic bedding, a travel cot, and a high chair upon request.
