The interior of Hailstone Barn is designed for comfort and luxury, boasting five well-appointed bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an additional shower room. The large open-plan living area is perfect for socializing, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table that seats ten, and a cozy sitting area with a wood-burning stove. The formal sitting room, with its wooden beams and French doors leading to the deck, provides a warm atmosphere for relaxation. For entertainment, the property comes equipped with three televisions featuring Sky Q and a Sonos sound system, while the dedicated entertainment room includes a large wall-mounted TV and an opulent corner bar.
The beautifully landscaped gardens, designed by James Alexander Sinclair, add to the charm of Hailstone Barn. The courtyard has been highlighted in Country Life magazine, while the wildflower gardens received recognition in The English Garden magazine. Guests can enjoy the outdoor space during warmer months, complete with a firepit, gas barbecue, and stylish garden furniture, including hammocks. The expansive views of the surrounding woodland and countryside enhance the tranquil experience, and guests can engage in a friendly game of tennis on the provided court. The nearby town of Tetbury, known for its antique shops, is just two miles away, offering additional exploration opportunities.
Hailstone Barn is also accommodating for smaller groups, offering a six-guest option outside of peak seasons, featuring three en-suite bedrooms. Families are welcome, and provisions for children, such as cots and high chairs, can be arranged. The property allows two well-behaved dogs with a small additional charge, although restrictions apply regarding their access to furniture and sleeping arrangements. Guests are encouraged to bring their own tennis equipment for the court, and additional services such as dog sitting and chef services can be requested. Internet access is provided for recreational use, with a note that the owners do not bear responsibility for any service disruptions.
