The cottage features generous, airy rooms designed for entertaining and celebrating, ensuring a memorable stay for all.
The tranquil ambiance of the cottage is enhanced by the sounds of birdsong during the spring and summer months, while winter guests can enjoy cozy evenings by the wood-burning stove after exploring the historic Framlingham Castle. The ground floor boasts two comfortable sitting rooms, each equipped with bi-fold doors that open directly into the expansive gardens. The open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room is fully equipped for meal preparation, with a large dining table perfect for gatherings. The outdoor space features a patio with a rose-laden pergola, ideal for al fresco dining and stargazing, as well as a snug/office area for quiet study or work.
The unique first-floor layout of Foxhole Cottage enhances privacy, with a double bedroom accessible from the snug/office, while the main entrance hallway leads to a super-king master bedroom and two additional double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom. This arrangement allows guests to enjoy independent sleeping quarters at either end of the house, making it suitable for both families and friends. The cottage can also accommodate varying group sizes, with options for sleeping 6, 8, or 12 guests.
Outside, the cottage features a large lawn garden adorned with wildflower borders, established trees, and vibrant flower beds, providing ample space for exploration and relaxation. The patio area, surrounded by roses, invites outdoor enjoyment, while children can play on the vast lawns equipped with a see-saw and the opportunity to explore two ponds. Foxhole Cottage is pet-friendly, allowing two well-behaved dogs with certain restrictions, and includes amenities such as an electric vehicle charging point and a cot and high chair for families. Guests are reminded to supervise children around the un-fenced ponds for their safety.
