Reservations for short breaks are available strictly from Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday, while full week stays are limited to Friday to Friday, ensuring a structured schedule for guests. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, the accommodation is limited to 8 guests until further notice, with strict check-in and check-out times to facilitate enhanced cleaning protocols.

Originally built as one of the first wooden holiday chalets on the banks of Rudyard Lake, Hideaway has undergone recent renovations to provide a contemporary and comfortable experience while maintaining its natural charm. Nestled in a quiet location, it offers easy access to the Staffordshire Way, a popular walking route, and is within walking distance of the Rudyard Lake visitor center, which features a tearoom, pleasure boat rides, and a small passenger steam train. Nearby attractions include the renowned Alton Towers theme park and the stunning Peak District, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area.

The property is thoughtfully designed across three levels, with off-road parking for three cars. The second floor houses two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a cloakroom, while the first floor boasts a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room with a log burner, another bedroom, and a bathroom. A large wrap-around balcony on this level provides a scenic outdoor space. Descending to the ground level, guests will find a games room complete with a second kitchen, a fourth bedroom, and an additional bathroom. French doors lead from this area to the garden, which features direct access to the lake's jetty, allowing for activities like fishing, boating, and canoeing.

Hideaway is decorated to a high standard, reflecting the beauty of its natural surroundings, with each bedroom and living area offering picturesque views of the lake. Entertainment options include TVs in every bedroom, a Smart TV in the living area, and a pool table in the games room, along with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property. The retreat emphasizes eco-friendliness, providing all necessary cleaning products as part of the rental price. Please note that pets are not allowed, and the property is unsuitable for loud gatherings, such as stag or hen parties, ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests.
