South Walsham is an excellent base within a conservation area at the centre of The Norfolk Broads. The village is home to The Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, which comprises 180 acres of beautiful ancient woodland, water gardens and a private broad. It is a superb location for ornithologists and walkers with its many nature trails. It is also only thirty minutes from the sandy beaches of Sea Palling and Winterton and the fine city of Norwich.
