Upon entering the lodge, visitors are welcomed by a spacious living room that boasts spectacular views, ample seating, and character beams, complemented by an electric coal effect fire for warmth and ambiance. The adjoining L-shaped kitchen and dining area exudes a cozy country cottage vibe, featuring a substantial dining table that seats 10, perfect for communal meals. The lower ground floor houses two double bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and additional amenities, along with a bathroom and utility room, providing convenience and comfort for guests.
The first floor features a master bedroom with a king-size bed and entertainment options, along with a flexible zip-link twin bedroom that can convert to a super king-size on request. A twin bedroom with TV and DVD player, as well as a family bathroom and a separate shower room, complete this level. Outside, the enclosed garden offers a safe space for children and pets, highlighted by a bespoke seating area made from local slate and a luxurious hot tub, allowing guests to unwind in style regardless of the weather. Off-road parking is available for up to four cars.
Grizebeck itself is a quaint village with a local shop and a historic coaching inn serving traditional Lake District ales. The area is rich in outdoor activities, with numerous walking trails available right at the doorstep of Bank End Lodge. Nearby attractions include the scenic Coniston and Windermere lakes, the South Lakes Animal Park, and the architectural wonders of Holker Hall and Levens Hall.
