Upon entering the house, guests are greeted by a spacious hallway designed for convenience, providing ample space for outdoor gear. The airy south-facing sitting room, complete with a vaulted ceiling and a wood-burning stove, is a cozy haven filled with natural light from large windows and patio doors. This inviting space includes two large sofas for unwinding and a smart TV for entertainment, while the patio doors lead to a deck with stunning views of Black Rock and the Atlantic Ocean, ideal for enjoying sunsets or relaxing in the fully enclosed garden with children and pets.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area is well-equipped with modern appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine, making it easy to prepare meals for the whole group. The dining table comfortably seats ten, encouraging shared meals and good company. An extension added in 2020/21 features a second sitting room with bi-fold doors that open onto a sheltered decking area, offering additional space for relaxation and entertainment, complete with a smart TV and an X-box for family fun.
Accommodations include three ground-floor bedrooms, consisting of a king room with an en-suite shower and two twin rooms, as well as a family bathroom. An oak staircase leads to the first floor, where a twin room and a master king room with sea views await, served by a well-equipped shower room. Just 50 meters from the beach, guests can enjoy stunning sunsets and excellent surfing opportunities. The property also features a semi-outdoor spiral shower for rinsing off after beach activities. With nearby amenities such as surfboard rentals, cafes, and the vibrant seaside town of Bude offering various attractions, Widemouth Bay truly presents a delightful destination for all types of adventurers.
