Close to the sea and renowned sandy beaches, the area is famous for its dramatic coastline and surfing spots. It is steeped in history, being near the ancient hamlet of Otterham, and offers a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, nature trails, and a heated swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy a cozy country pub on-site that serves locally sourced food and drinks, contributing to the estate's reputation as a five-star destination recognized by Trip Advisor.

Despite its tranquil setting, St. Tinney is conveniently located near the Cornwall/Devon border, with easy access to major roads and transport links. The lodge is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Bristol, 3 hours from Birmingham, and 3.5 hours from London. For those traveling by air or rail, Newquay Airport and Bodmin Parkway train station are both around a 35-minute drive away. Guests can explore the local area, which offers a range of activities, including golf, cycling, horse riding, and water sports, making it an ideal base for both relaxation and adventure.
