The Space:
Location, Location, Location. Simply roll out of bed onto The Old Course - a mere 15 seconds walk from the front door of the apartment! Being a good 5 iron from the 18th green of the world famous Old Course and R&A Clubhouse, you will be able to truly immerse yourself in the Home of Golf! This apartment can sleep 6 comfortably across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open plan kitchen, breakfast bar and living room and is suitable for all visitors. Parking is available on Gibson Place although spaces are limited. Spaces are more freely available later at night or early in the morning. There is also free parking on The Scores or at the public car park nearby. The property has an entrance on the ground floor with further accommodation down one level. The accommodation layouts are as follows: Ground floor - kitchen/living room, double bedroom, shower room/WC, utility cupboard with washer/dryer Basement - 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 shower room/WC
The Neighbourhood:
St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course. Its amenities include Scotland's oldest university, founded in 1413, beautiful award-winning beaches, historic buildings, including the ruins of the cathedral, castle and St Rule's Tower and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants. Renowned worldwide as "the home of golf” St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and the Fairmont St Andrews complex. Within 15 minutes drive, you have an absolute wealth of beauty with the East Neuk of Fife and its picturesque towns and villages, including Crail, Elie, Kingsbarns and many more.
Getting Around:
Everything in St Andrews is within walking distance, be it the sights, the beaches, the aquarium, the Links golf courses and many more facilities. The bus routes are all frequent and easy to use. Taxis are relatively cheap given the short distances between places in St Andrews.
Guest access:
Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the house are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements.
Pre Arrival:
When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure from 4pm. If early check in has been purchased check in will be from 3pm. Please note that access is not permitted to the property before this time, and we cannot store any luggage prior to check in.
Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the code prior to arrival.
During Your Stay:
We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay.
