Located in Benson, Oxfordshire, Bluebell Lodge offers a serene escape in the Heart of England, accommodating up to six guests across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms. This charming lodge, constructed entirely from wood and featuring unique handcrafted elements, is ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a countryside retreat. Its proximity to the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty enhances its appeal, and it can be booked alongside the adjacent Buttercup Lodge for larger gatherings. Additionally, Bluebell Lodge is pet-friendly, welcoming up to two well-behaved dogs.

Upon entering the lodge through a side door, guests are greeted by a hallway that leads to a utility area equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The family bathroom is conveniently located and features both a bath and shower. The first bedroom is designed for comfort, offering two single beds, ample storage, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The heart of the lodge is the spacious, south-facing open-plan living-dining-kitchen area, which boasts a fully fitted kitchen complete with modern appliances, including an induction hob, electric oven, and American-style fridge-freezer, making it perfect for cooking and entertaining.

The living area is furnished with a cozy L-shaped sofa and an easy chair, while the dining table comfortably seats six, making it an inviting space for family meals. Stairs lead to the first floor, where guests will find a double bedroom featuring a king-size bed and a private balcony that offers stunning views of the Oxfordshire countryside, complete with outdoor seating. The third bedroom, designed with children in mind, contains two single beds but has limited headroom due to its layout, making it a cozy nook for younger guests. Another family bathroom on this level includes a walk-in shower for convenience.

Bluebell Lodge is equipped with central heating and WiFi, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round. Off-road parking is available for two vehicles, and an EV charge point is provided for an additional fee. The lodge is ideally situated just 600 meters from the Ridgeway National Trail, with Oxford and Reading both located approximately 15 miles away, and Henley-on-Thames a mere 10 miles distant. Guests can also explore the local area’s natural beauty at Chiltern Hills and Wittenham Clumps, while cultural attractions like the Wallingford Museum and Didcot Railway Centre provide a glimpse into the region's rich heritage.
