Conveniently located just six miles from central York and a short drive from the Designer Outlet Village, guests can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside while remaining close to urban amenities.

The historic barn, originally a carriage house over 200 years old, is set in serene open countryside, providing a safe environment for families, particularly with its quiet village atmosphere and a small playground nearby. The studio accommodates up to four guests, featuring a king-sized bed and a sofa bed, with a standard occupancy of two. Additional guests incur a modest fee, and there are provisions for bedding and laundry. Guests should note that while the barn retains many original features, sound may travel between apartments, and quiet hours are requested to maintain a peaceful environment.

Guests have access to an array of amenities, including a newly established Relaxation And Wellness Space (RAWS), which features a hot tub, lounging area, fire pit, and dining facilities under wooden gazebos. This space can be booked for private events, yoga classes, and retreats, accommodating up to 30 guests. The studio's location offers ample parking, with public transport options available, including a village bus to York and the Coastliner service for wider travel. The Park and Ride service at Askham Bar is also a convenient option for exploring the city.
