Situated along Carmarthen Bay, the flourishing seaside resort of Tenby is steeped in history, with its numerous listed buildings, Victorian island fort, Tudor Merchant s House and medieval walls encircling the town. Tenby is also home to four stunning beaches, three golf courses and a fabulous array of great places to eat and drink. Activities in the town include water sports, sea fishing, boat trips to Caldey Island or following the coastal path. The quieter coastal village of Saundersfoot is to the north (3.5 miles), with the picturesque town of Pembroke inland (10 miles). Other popular local attractions include Manor Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo and Oakwood Theme Park (all within 10.5 miles).
